DC is where its at
I pride myself in being a native in the city. I don’t know how to live any other way than fast pace. I suppose this could be a downfall in some scenarios and I may be able to attribute my lack of patience to this, but it’s a rare breed and I have grown attached to my city.
After having coffee this week with some friends, shoutout to Celeste and Steffen, I realized that although DC’s square mileage is much smaller than the average city, it hard to get enough of. Everywhere you go, there is a new restaurant or coffee shop. Even the historical parts of DC like the national mall, Georgetown and eastern market are still charming even after the thousandth time you visit. Even contrary to the stereotypes, you can’t find a better view of the city than over the river in Anacosita.
Needless to say, I love this city and I’ll be sad to leave it next fall.
Whats your favorite part of DC, or your city?
